History
Located in St. Joseph, MO, our asphalt plant meets the needs of regional contractors and municipalities while providing asphalt for our own paving projects.
Keller Construction was founded by Alfred J. Keller. Alfred served as a bomber pilot during WWII. During his tour in the Pacific, he witnessed the construction of military runways and said to himself that if he makes it home, hes building an asphalt plant. He returned home, and by 1950 his dream was realized and Keller Construction was established.
Through hard work and commitment his company saw success and became incorporated in 1964. Alfred's son Jim Keller soon took over, continuing to grow the companies success and reputation. Jim’s two sons, Tony & Andy, officially became owner/partners in 2010. The company has recently completed construction of a new plant.
